In 2020, I was a sophomore in college and got a job offer from one of my professors to work as an assistant in her art studio. As a Harvard graduate and my architecture studio professor, she showed me the unique world of women-owned art & design studios. I realized that this is my calling - helping cool people make cool shit. I’d seen first-hand how a small team of women can bend drywall in ways it was never supposed to be bent, and give small country towns new life through urban trails rooted in local history.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but the 2 years I spent under her wing set the tone for how I envisioned my life. In 2023, I became a virtual assistant for designers and added to my collection of skills. The past year has allowed me to see what design coaches and content creators really need: a tight-knit, proactive, savvy, free-thinker. Someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table and a game plan for how to integrate them.
